D un D centrs was created by scientists and engineers of former Riga aviation university that was one of the largest R&D centre of monitoring and diagnosis systems for civil aviation in ex-USSR. Main sphere of our centre is aviation industry and companies acting in transport and power supply.

We are concentrating on the creation of new technologies development for monitoring and diagnosis, which practically provide condition based maintenance of aviation jet engines and power turbo machines.
New technology creation requires a lot of research and development works to be done which are carried out within own and joint programs. Thus an experimental researches improving effectiveness of vibration passport technique are curried out together with Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) within SUSPOWER program funded by FP6 under the Research Infrastructures/Transnational Access Program. Experimental rig owned by one of Siemens enterprises is used for this purpose.
Different research programs are funded by us within contracts for scientific and technical co-operation with our partners in Latvia, Russia, EU countries.
Accomplishing main task our centre develops also specific techniques for diagnostics of gearboxes and most responsible aggregates/units. |

The approach of D un D centrs to R&D includes
three main components: advanced investigation techniques, integrated models of
both vibration and other machine’s parameters and malfunction tests.
Modern data processing techniques provides high effectiveness of
measurement and analysis but the testing
allows to adopt the diagnosis model and to determine the
limits of measured parameters alterations. |

We are developing
technology of vibration passport certification that is used as the main instrument of
integrated machines monitoring (air jet engines, gear boxes, plunger pumps etc.).
Taking into account high level of customer’s requirements to system reliability we use the most reliable
and modern measurement and date processing equipment of world leading manufactures.
Our main partner in equipment supply for vibration measurement and analysis is Bruel & Kjaer, Danmark. |
